The SRT Viper GT3-R is unveiled at Le Mans – Jun 20, 2013– Woking, UK (Techreleased) – Viper has made plenty of history in GT racing over the years. And now, it’s time to add another chapter with the unveiling of the SRT Viper GT3-R at Le Mans.
SRT Viper GT3-R
The SRT Viper GT3-R was born from the same engineering and technology used by the SRT Viper GTS-R which competes in the American Le Mans Series and at Le Mans. Its engine, chassis, suspension, electronics and aerodynamics are a direct correlation to the GTS-R. Powered by the tried and true Viper V-10 race engine, the GT3-R churns out 680-horsepower and 640-lb.-ft. of torque. The SRT Viper GT3-R is eligible to compete in FIA GT3, United SportsCar Racing GT Daytona, Pirelli World Challenge GT, NARRA and SCCA/NASA.
