Xperia Hello

SECOM Says ‘Hello’ To Xperia Hello! – Dec 08, 2018 – Tokyo, Japan (Techreleased) – Home security is important to all of us, so it’s nice to know that you can get a little extra help to keep your house and belongings as safe as possible.

Since launching in Japan in 2017, the Xperia Hello! has been helping people with its voice command controls – almost as though it’s part of the family!

What’s more, Xperia Hello! is able to differentiate between the faces of each person in the household by using face recognition technology to offer a personalised experience, helping you keep a watchful eye on your home and family no matter where you are.

And now the ever-helpful Xperia Hello! has partnered with SECOM, the largest security company in Japan, to give people peace of mind when it comes to home security.

Through a collaboration with SECOM, Xperia Hello! users in Japan can now change the mode of their SECOM security system using just their voice.

The partnership enables Xperia Hello! to send messages about the security of your home via LINE (Japan’s equivalent of WhatsApp or WeChat).  Messages are sent to family members, whether you’re together or apart, when the security mode is changed. You can also check the current states of the security on the Xperia Hello!’s display.

Not confident you’ll remember to programme the security system when you go to the bed? Your Xperia Hello! will actively prompt you to set the security mode (another way Xperia Hello! has been designed to fit easily into your daily life).

Xperia Hello! is also able to differentiate between the faces of each member of the family to offer a personalised experience, helping you keep a watchful eye on your home and family no matter where you are. You can easily check up on the status of your family, simply by asking for the last time their faces were detected via LINE app. In addition, the clever speaker can provide you with pictures of the room it’s situated in – a handy tool for checking up on your cat snoozing while you’re away from home!
