Nov 02-11, 2012 —Istanbul International Auto Show Istanbul, Turkey.The introduction of Istanbul Autoshow that will open its door to the automobile enthusiasts for the 14th time in 2012 is one of the most significant milestones in the development of Turkish automotive industry. The fair has continuously improved and grown since the very first day it started, and at where we stand today, it has become one of the most important autoshows not only in Turkey and in Europe. Istanbul Autoshow has been taken into the “International Calendar of Auto Shows” by OICA, the international organization of motor vehicle manufacturers, as of 2006, and has become an internationally recognized fair. It is also extremely important to be able to be involved in this calendar, where the auto shows held world-wide are assessed and only those which achieve a certain level and quality can get in, in terms of the international prestige of Turkish automotive industry.
Held annually until 2000 with the support of Automotive Distributors Association, Istanbul Autoshow has begun to be held biannually in the following years. The 15th Istanbul Autoshow is intended to be held in 2014.
In addition to the auto shows held in Istanbul, the Automotive Distributors Association organizes auto shows in the leading Anatolian cities. The interest in these fairs has been gradually increased day by day, and these fairs, which play a key role in the country-wide development of the automotive industry, significantly contribute to the local economy, as well.
The automotive industry gets an increasing share from the modern technological developments, and it indicates the aspiration of our society to live well that the technical and aesthetical developments in the products create a demand among people. The automobile enthusiasts will get the chance to know both the latest technological developments and also new automobile models to be released to the market, and they will gain insight about the automotive technologies and design approaches of the future.
For Istanbul Autoshow to be held between 2nd-11th November, 2012 at Tuyap Fair, Congress and Convention Center, Beylikduzu, the automotive brands have begun working to get prepared to offer the most interesting booths and the organizers to offer the most enjoyable events.
