Leveraging their strong working relationship built through the past equipment supply, the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding on technical collaborations to enhance the quality and reliability of EGAT’s transmission and distribution technologies.

Mitsubishi Electric intends to continue to contribute actively to the reliability of electric power supply and thereby economic development in Thailand and other Southeast Asian nations.

Significant economic growth in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries have led to increased demands for power-supply equipment in these nations. Mitsubishi Electric has been supplying generators, transformers and other such equipment to customers in Thailand since the 1970s. Thailand is now the key market for Mitsubishi Electric’s business strategy in Southeast Asia.
