Nov 22, 2012– Les Ulis, France (Techreleased) – McMurdo Marine Systems has today announced that it has been awarded a contract worth almost 1.5 million euros, which involves the supply of beacons to track fishing boat fleets and oil slicks.
“News of this latest contract for M2M marine applications underlines our capacity and expertise in developing positioning and communication equipment for mobile objects, which are exposed to particularly extreme environmental conditions (flooding, hard impacts or vibrations, high humidity or dust, etc.).”
The beacons will be supplied at intervals throughout 2013 – 2014.
