June 13-14,2012 — Underwater Technology Conference Bergen, Norway. The Underwater Technology Foundation once more welcomes you to the Underwater Technology Conference (UTC), the 18th UTC since we started in 1980. We are proud to announce that Norwegian Secretary of State for Petroleum and Energy Ole Borten Moe will attend and deliver the opening address at UTC 2012.

The theme of this year’s conference ’Subsea Growth – How to make it happen?’ acknowledges that our industry faces challenges in future. Projected marked growth is record high, putting a strain on already stretched resources. Can we attract the talent and amount of people necessary to continue being innovative and developing technologies that make subsea production even more cost efficient, safe and environmentally friendly than today?

At UTC 2012, some of the brightest minds in subsea technology will share their knowledge, understanding and perception of things to come. We’ll hear about long-term strategies and developments in the OG21 strategy and PROCAP. We’ll learn insight from key individuals from major subsea operators from all over the world. Suppliers and service providers will share their initiatives, developments and solutions. There will be updated market information and investor views on subsea. We will also participate in world-class networking events and you can join a field trip to visit local subsea companies.

The Underwater Technology Foundation was established by a group of key companies in the oil industry, in cooperation with classification, research and finance institutions in the Bergen area.

The first Underwater Technology Conference was held in 1980. It was an immediate success and the Conference in 2012 will be the 18th annual UTC.
