July 26-28,2012 —China Game Developers Conference 2012 Shanghai, China. China Game Developers Conference (CGDC) is an important technology exchange event in game research and development technology field. Held annually in late July in Shanghai (in conjunction with the ChinaJoy Expo), CGDC is one of ChinaJoy’s most important conferences for China’s game industry. During the 3-day conference each year, there will be over 100 world leading game talents invited to give speeches on technology and share latest technological experience and more than 4,000 game developers participating in the conference.

For the purpose of promoting technology exchange between China and the world and encouraging the development of Chinese original-made games, CGDC came into being and has been held since 2007 up to now. Based on the specific needs of technology exchange, the Conference covers various aspects of game development such as the development of massive multiplayer online games, mobile games, social games, web games and future game technology. Sessions cover eight categories: Game Design, Visual Art, Program, Operation, Audio, Management, Security and Testing.

CGDC aims at promoting game development technology exchange and cooperation globally and offering a platform to exchange experience, share latest technological achievements and explore future technology trends, thus enhancing R&D management of China’s domestic games and serving the professionals in game product development and technical management and operation through development experience exchange as well as technological innovation and application.
