Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik BTS and Alfa Laval cooperate in millireactor technology – Sep 18, 2013– Wendelsheim, Germany (Techreleased) – Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik BTS GmbH (EMB), a subsidiary of Bayer Technology Services GmbH, has acquired a worldwide license from Alfa Laval to market and manufacture ART® reactor technology. With these millistructured plate reactors, which are used in laboratory, pilot and production plants, EMB is now the leading supplier of metal micro- and millistructured reactors and apparatus.

Micro- and millireactor technology offers substantial advantages over batch and other reactors, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in the fine and specialty chemicals industries.
