Harnessing the huge processing power of PlayStation®3, PlayMemories Studio makes enjoying your image collection as much fun as playing your favourite video game. Plug in your digital camera or camcorder, then pick up your PlayStation®3 controller and enjoy the show.
The integrated viewer in PlayMemories Studio lets you browse and view photos and videos – including 3D images and clips – on your TV screen. Content from your camera, stored on PS3 or a connected drive or USB memory are all displayed together in a handy ‘timeline’ view. Looking for that particular shot? Powerful filters let you pinpoint images by date, smiles, 2D/3D, favourites, GPS data and more.
Add a sense of place to your images
A fascinating Map view displays all your geotagged images in place (NB: requires GPS-equipped camera or camcorder). Just spin the on-screen globe and re-live the excitement of your travels.
Spice up your photos and video clips with a palette of one-button artistic picture effects. There’s a choice of eleven treatments including sepia, toy camera, soft focus and monochrome.
You don’t need movie editing skills to turn your video clips into polished productions. PlayMemories Studio makes it easy to create mini-masterpieces in moments. Use your controller to tag, trim and join clips. Add on-screen captions plus fun video, voice-changing and sound effects.
Store and share easily
Don’t keep all those memories to yourself – share them online. PlayMemories Studio lets you upload images and videos straight to Facebook with a few clicks. Support* is also planned for uploads to PlayMemories Online, the new cloud-based service from Sony that lets you access photos and videos from your connected TV, PC, smartphone or tablet.
Images can also be transferred wirelessly to Playstation®Vita or PSP® to enjoy any time while you’re on the move.
