Feb 11, 2013– Dubai, UAE  (Techreleased) – Panasonic introduces a new series of DLP projectors, which offer professional users up to 20,000 hours of maintenance free time, equivalent to more than 2 years continuous use, without the need to replace a lamp or change a filter.

The Full-HD PT-RZ370 and WXGA PTRW330 are both ideal for seminar rooms in education or for boardrooms in corporate use. Both the projectors feature DIGITAL LINK connectivity based on HDbaseT™, along with unsurpassed reliability, minimal service downtime and a low total cost of ownership.

Other benefits of the PT-RZ370 and WXGA PTRW330 include, images appearing quickly as no cooling is necessary for the projector, and this further enables 24/7 operation capabilities. There are also a number of eco management functions where power consumption and be reduced by 20 to 30 percent.

Common to both projector series is the lamp free LED/laser light source technology that ensures a long lasting brightness throughout the life of the projector. Approximately 75% of the original brightness level is retained even after 10,000 hours of use, and as a unique technology from Panasonic the projectors use a built in colour sensor to help maintain white balance in images. Consistent and impactful images are delivered during operation and maintenance costs are kept to a minimum throughout the lifetime. This is primarily due to there being no requirement to replace lamps, less maintenance downtime and added flexibility of installation.

Panasonic ‘DIGIAL LINK’ featured across both the projectors, which offers the end users a much simplified AV infrastructure with high definition video, audio, and control signals all carried over a single CAT5E or higher Ethernet cable for up to 100 meters.

These projectors set itself apart from other combined light source projectors on the market with 30x drive system that minimises DLP rainbow effects, installation friendly features such as 2x zoom and lens shift and additional professional features. Both models pride a high contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and are equipped with portrait mode capability, edge-blending feature to combine projections from multiple units along with multi-unit brightness control to ensure uniform brightness across multiple projectors.

The PT-RZ370 and WXGA PTRW330 models possess a range of display modes including DICOM Mode for medical applications plus REC 709 for HD-TV standard. Together with DIGITAL LINK, Crestron® RoomView™ is supported giving easy network control.

Furthermore, total cost of ownership is important, especially in educational applications. From the time of installation these projectors offer an exceptional total cost of ownership, from the long lasting light source, to the 2x zoom and exceptionally wide lens shift range, which allows the user to easily replace installations without having to reposition the existing universal ceiling mounts.
