“The E190’s range opens up an entire continent of opportunities,” said Paulo Cesar Silva, President and CEO, Embraer Commercial Aviation. “The E190 is the ideal aircraft to bring new nonstop convenience to passengers and build new routes and frequencies with low-risk, right-sized capacity for a new carrier.”

FLYNONSTOP’s E190 is configured with 100 Elite seats in single class configuration. The airline will commence operations between Kristiansand and major European cities, including London City Airport, to tap into the growing demand for scheduled non-stop air service to/from Norway.

“We are very enthusiastic about starting operations with the E190. The aircraft will allow us to schedule direct routes with eco-efficient aircraft, providing our passengers with a high level of comfort,” stated Daniel Lundberg, CEO of FLYNONSTOP. “The E190 will also help us to develop our direct flight network with enhanced frequency and routes in response to the growing and seasonal demand from Norwegian passengers who need to reach some key European cities.”

Embraer aircraft have been flying throughout Scandinavia for years and this is the first customer to operate an E-Jet from Norway. With the E190 acquisition from FLYNONSTOP, there are now 27 customers from 17 European countries flying Embraer commercial jets. A total of 23 of those customers are E-Jet operators.

Today, over 60 airlines from more than 40 countries are operating or have confirmed future orders for E-Jets. Since entering revenue service in 2004, Embraer has received more than 1,100 E-Jet orders. Over 900 of them have been delivered.
