Nissan QASHQAI Ti

Nissan QASHQAI Ti Range-Topper Arrives – June 23, 2018 – Melbourne, Australia (Techreleased) – Nissan has finalised the QASHQAI range with the high spec Ti grade on sale from July 1.

One of Australia’s most popular small SUVs; when the refreshed 2018 model was launched late last year the Nissan QASHQAI was offered in three variants including the entry model ST, the core grade ST-L and the temporary “special edition” high-spec NTEC – which was introduced to complete the range ahead of the July 2018 arrival of the Ti.

The QASHQAI Ti features a number of additions over and above what was offered on the superseded NTEC option, including Nappa leather-accented^ seat trim, Intelligent Cruise Control and Intelligent Lane Intervention.

The QASHQAI Ti’s Nappa leather-accented^ seats are monoform in design and feature 3D quilting and soft cushioning to provide a luxurious, premium feel. They also have two memory positions and four-way electric lumbar support for the driver and six-way electric adjustment for front passenger comfort. Intelligent Cruise Control reduces the car’s speed, maintaining the gap to the car in front, and Intelligent Lane Intervention alerts the driver if the car starts to veer into another lane.

It also has Intelligent Park Assistǂ – Nissan’s self-parking technology – a 360 degree Intelligent Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Intelligent Driver Alert, Blind Spot Warning and High Beam Assist. Rear Cross Traffic Alert and the Adaptive Front-lighting System are also standard on the Ti model.

Inside, the QASHQAI Ti features Bluetooth~, an intelligent key with push button engine start, one touch front and rear window controls, DAB+ digital radio, sat nav, a rear view camera, the 7.0 inch colour screen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

“The Nissan QASHQAI Ti features a long list of Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety technologies and other standard equipment for buyers wanting more,” said Nissan Australia managing director, Stephen Lester.

“The top of the range Ti has everything that the outgoing NTEC model had, but adds Nappa leather-accented^ seating, plus Intelligent Cruise Control and Intelligent Lane Intervention.

“With its contemporary internal and external styling, technology and safety, there’re plenty of reasons why QASHQAI is one of the best performers in its segment.”

The QASHQAI Ti features a 2.0 litre petrol engine with 106kW of power and 200Nm of torque mated to the Xtronic CVT transmission, and sips from as little as 6.9 litres# of standard unleaded petrol per 100 kilometres – making it one of the most fuel efficient vehicles in its sales segment.

With a rich model mix, sales across ST, ST-L and Ti are expected to remain evenly split, with Ti accounting for 30 per cent of total QASHQAI retails.
