About the 2013 Nissan Versa Sedan
The second-generation Nissan Versa Sedan, introduced just last year, is designed to redefine entry-level car value. It combines a sophisticated exterior design, a well-appointed interior and exceptional room for five adults – including more rear legroom than many mid-size sedans.

Key enhancements for the 2013 model year are lead by the addition of a new Versa Sedan 1.6 S AT model with 4-speed automatic transmission and an increase in fuel economy to 40 miles per gallon Highway (from 38 mpg) for all CVT-equipped models (S Plus CVT, SV, SL). Other changes for 2013 include the addition of the previous Cruise Control Package content to the Versa Sedan S CVT model, which is now renamed the Versa Sedan S Plus CVT; the SV Convenience Package adds a 60/40-split rear seat; the SL Tech Package adds RearView Monitor; CVT-equipped models add a standard rear spoiler; SV models add cloth door trim, chrome interior door handles, driver’s seat armrest and painted shift knob; SL models add Nissan Intelligent Key™, remote key fob trunk release and driver’s seat armrest; and S models add a standard trunk light. Sunvisor extensions are added to all models.

The 2013 Nissan Versa Sedan is built on Nissan’s front-wheel drive global “V” platform. The standard second-generation 1.6-liter HR16DE 4-cylinder engine includes a range of cutting-edge technologies, such a dual fuel injector system and a twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC) system similar to the system used on the flagship Nissan Maxima. The engine is rated at 109 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque.

The available next-generation Xtronic CVT® transmission utilizes an auxiliary gearbox using planetary gearing, helping enhance efficiency. It also features a transmission ratio of 7.3:1, which is broader than those of conventional CVTs and even typical 7-speed automatic transmissions. Fuel economy is rated at 31 mpg City, 40 mpg Highway and 35 mpg Combined with the CVT transmission; 27/36/30 mpg with the 5-speed manual transmission; and 26/35/30 mpg with the 4-speed automatic transmission.

Every 2013 Versa Sedan also offers an exterior design that is both sophisticated and aerodynamic, along with an open, airy, high-quality interior with 60/40-split fold-down rear seat and Fine Vision instrumentation.

Versa Sedan’s long list of available equipment includes available Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately) and an in-dash 5-inch touch screen navigation system with NavTraffic (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately) and USB input for iPod® and other compatible devices.

Versa Sedan is available in four models – 1.6 S (5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic), 1.6 S Plus CVT, 1.6 SV (CVT) and 1.6 SL (CVT). Along with the long list of standard equipment for each trim level, packaging has been simplified to make the shopping experience easier for customers. Among the available 2013 Versa Sedan optional equipment packages are a Convenience Package (1.6 SV) and Tech Package (1.6 SL).

The Nissan Versa is also available in a 5-door Versa Hatchback version.
