Rolls-Royce Delivers 100th M250 Engine To Grob Aircraft – Jul 25, 2016– London, UK (Techreleased) – Rolls-Royce and Grob Aircraft have celebrated the 100th delivery of the M250 engine which powers the Grob G120TP trainer.

The milestone comes just four years after the first production delivery, highlighting the success of the aircraft which has seen the German manufacturer, Grob Aircraft, become the largest customer for the turboprop version of the engine.

The G120TP high-performance, fixed-wing trainer is powered by a single M250-B17F turboprop engine. The M250 provides 450 shp and enables the aircraft to travel at 280 mph, and reach up to 6 G’s. The G120TP was recently selected by the UK Ministry of Defence which for its elementary flying training requirement.
